|Rescue Me ID: 17-06-09-00011**APPLE BLOSSOM (female)|
Send us an email requesting an application to start the adoption process-- email@example.com Approximate DOB 09/01/2016 Size - She is about 6 lbs. History- She was picked up as a stray.. She was dehydrated and under weight. But the shelter vets and staff got her stabilized and she stole everyone's hearts.. She is special in that she does have Hydrocephalus so her head is much larger than it should, her eyes are spaced further apart, she has soft spots in her skull, she may in the future develop seizures and may have a shorter life span, and she doesn't gauge her surrounding well- so is more cautious than most dogs. Due to her condition she will not be placed in a home with other dogs or children as any type of trauma caused by either can make her condition worse. She will be seeing our vet for a second opinion as well but for now this is what we were told and have observed. Temperament- She is very sweet and can be playful but tires quickly so then goes to her bed. Energy Level- Pretty mellow Dogs/Cats- Good with other dogs but she will should not interact with those that are rambunctious or bigger than her due to the soft spots in her head. Trauma to the head can cause more fluid buildup and possibly seizures. Housetrained- She uses puppy pads This little girl is so cute.. She wins everyone over with her sweet personality.. She is absolutely darling and loves to play with her soft little toys.. Shew would make a wonderful addition to any family wanting a sweet, loving, special baby to love.. We are hoping the 2nd opinion we get on her is better and at that point we will update her bio.. Adoption fee $200 includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations (4 for puppies), deworming, microchip, rabies vacc, collar and tags, training information, and all the support you need.
